A highlight of our day today was doing a ropes course, with the added challenge of being blindfolded. The rabbits had to make their way through the forest, by following a series of ropes tied to trees. Luckily they had a partner to reassure them and help guide them. Loosing ones sense of sight can be a vulnerable feeling, especially with the added obstacles present in the forest, (think logs, unstable ground and debris). It was interesting to watch the Rabbits navigate this challenge. Some of the kids preferred to be the leader / communicator, offering their partner reassurance and support. Some of us felt better with the blindfold and feeling our way slowly. Ask your child what they felt about this challenge and who they partnered with to do this activity.
