Rabbits - April 23

upstreamforestschool

The bright blue sky and sunny day was a noticible different from last Tuesday's snow storm at the bluff. Our group was ready to play and enjoy the beautiful day. We noticed a number of different signs of spring today! Creeping bell flower, alfalfa, a butterfly and s few different bugs. We delighted in these discoveries and used our senses to enjoy and even taste some of these discoveries (No bugs were eaten!)

The game our class enjoyed the most was Among Us / Imposter. The 'crewmates' had a series of forest obstacle tasks to complete without getting tagged by the imposter, and if someone was tagged we had to figure out who it was.

A highlight of the day was creating nature mobiles using natural items from our area. It was fun to use the saws to cut branches to size and figure out how to balance the items we collected for this purpose.
