Owls, March 12

upstreamforestschool

We enjoyed a beautiful day exploring tools and becoming a part of the forest. Our interests led some to work on wizard sticks, wands and light sabers; the target tarp helped them practice their skill, not just their creation techniques! Have you ever looked over and picked out someone staring at you? Ask your Owl how we demonstrated this *blindfolded*; we then tried to blend in with the forest and not draw any attention to ourselves by redirecting our eyes and busy thoughts! Making monkey fists was a highlight; it's a complicated knot and everyone who tried was successful! This knot will feature in our play in the next few weeks!

For homestudy, ask your Owl to find a story of someone 'counting coup' to share next week. This is a part of our training!
