Nuthatches, Sept 27

upstreamforestschool

It was a chilly wet day to playing in the forest as a nuthatch! But thanks to all the parents who dressed their kids this morning in lots of layers, we played all morning. We tried to keep moving today to keep warm so explored our spot by playing hide and seek and an running through an obstacle course. We read book and made a bug hotel in the down time. The bug hotel had a chimney, kitchen and a bedroom all filled with natural materials for our bug friends to enjoy! We continued practicing our tool skills with hammers and nails and sharing around the most popular ones like the drills.
