Next week we will have the afternoon to try a new recipe for Iron Chef or repeat one you have already done that you think needs refining. This is only if you want to, otherwise you can just enjoy the fire and bring something simple to roast and eat. Also if you'd like to skate we will probably have time.
A Cold Day Encounter
It's a very cold day.
The wind cuts through the air as we walk by.
Chinook Blast art puzzles us.
Coyotes are seen nearby,
moving quietly around the art
as if drawn to its color.
In the distance,
infrared wolves appear
their outlines glowing softly in the winter light.
The C-Train rumbles past on its route,
a steady presence against the cold,
bringing city life through the quiet chill.
On this day, art, wildlife, and urban life meet,
each a small part of the winter scene.
