This week the Burrowing Owls focused on an engineering project - building "velocity tracks" (as they were named) to guide golf balls on a roll. Several groups formed, and in addition to relying on the gravity of the hillside the owls experimented with starting the tracks in the treetops. See the process and end product of some of their creations below. We'll be bringing the materials back next week so those who want to can continue building during free time!
